BC Jag Choir Booster Club

The Choir Program at Boulder Creek High School provides choir students of all levels with opportunities to perform and grow musically.  While the fine arts budget meets the very basic requirements of the program, additional funds are needed to provide our students with an exceptional choral education and experience that is above and beyond what the normal school budget allows. The Choir Booster Club is made up of volunteers who are dedicated to raising funds and providing support to Boulder Creek’s choir program so Mr. Douglas, our director, can provide an exceptional choral educational experience for all choir students and so all choir members can create memories that will last a life time. Some of the things the Booster Club does to support BC Jag Choir include:

• Organize and conduct fundraisers throughout the year to purchase sheet music, uniforms, costumes, equipment, props,  risers as well as paying for competition choreographers and much more.

• Provides chaperones for travel, concerts and any other support for choir events as needed, and as requested by the Choir Director.

• Manage ticket sales for concerts

• Operate concert concession stand

• Manage the sizing, distribution, maintenance and collection of costumes

• Assist the Choir Director with marketing, communication and other organizational as well as clerical support, as needed

• Partner with the BC Jag Choir Council on fundraising, marketing and community outreach

We are always looking for volunteers to help us maintain an exceptional music program. Unlike other Booster Clubs, there is no required membership fee. Instead, we ask for a suggested donation of $10. We welcome all volunteers whether you want to join a committee this year or just help out when you can. There is something for everyone.
